Steve Rosen co-wrote the book, music and lyrics of The Other Josh Cohen in which he is currently starring at the Westside Theater, Off-Broadway. As an actor he’s appeared on Broadway in the original companies of Spamalot, The Farnsworth Invention and in the 2009 revival of Guys and Dolls. Off-Broadway credits include Peter and the Starcatcher, CQ/CX and Pretty Filthy. For his work in the theater he has been nominated for five Drama Desk and two Lucille Lortel awards. He lost them all. He has appeared in films directed by Woody Allen, Barry Levinson and Todd Solondz and has worked extensively on television and currently plays recurring roles on SVU and The Resident. Other TV credits include: The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Nurse Jackie, Masters of Sex, Elementary and Psych. His bar mitzvah Torah portion was from Leviticus and was all about leprosy.
